Written by hand. Never by machine.

One human poet

Kellie writes every poem herself, from your brief. No AI touches a single line.

Artist-grade materials

Heirloom cotton paper, a vintage typewriter or fountain pen, and real oxblood wax.

Sealed and sent to you

Your poem ships to you only, never to the one who wronged you.

How it works

Four steps from wound to ash.

Broad strokes only. You don't need names or details that hurt to type. Give us the shape of it, and we'll give it teeth.

01

Tell us

Fill out a short brief: who they were to you, what happened in broad strokes, the tone you want, and the one thing you want burned.

02

Choose the craft

Typed on a vintage typewriter or handwritten in fountain pen, on heirloom paper.

03

Sealed and sent

Your poem is wax-sealed and mailed to you, along with the ritual card.

04

Burn it

Read it aloud, seal the harm inside, and set it alight. Walk away lighter.

The editions

Two ways to say it. Both on heirloom paper.

The Ritual of Release

Seal it. Burn it. Walk away lighter.

  1. I
    Read it aloud.

Once, slowly, somewhere private. Let every word land where it belongs.

  2. II
    Seal the harm inside.

Silently name what you are done carrying. Fold the page away from you, once and then again, closing the harm within the words.

  3. III
    Burn it.

Outdoors, over a fireproof bowl, light one corner. Watch what was taken from you turn to light, then ash.

  4. IV
    Release.

When the flame is gone, say: It is written. It is burned. It is no longer mine to carry.

Fire safety guidance is printed on every ritual card. Burn outdoors, over a fireproof bowl, with water nearby. Adults only.

Questions

Before you light the match.

Who writes the poems?

Kellie writes every poem herself. No AI is used at any stage. This is human-made art on artist-grade materials.

Is the poem sent to the person who wronged me?

Never. Your poem is written for you and ships only to you. It's for your release, not their mailbox.

What should I put in the brief?

Broad strokes only: who they were to you, the general shape of what happened, the tone you want, and the one thing you want burned. Please don't include names, identifying details, or specifics that are painful to write.

What happens if I choose Publish?

Your poem may be featured, anonymized and numbered, on our Instagram and in the published-poems archive. Choose No and it stays private, forever. Changed your mind later? Email us and we'll take it down.

How long does it take?

Standard poems are written and shipped within 10 to 14 business days. Rush writing ships within about 5 business days. US shipping only, for now.

What is Burn & Keep?

The ritual asks you to burn your poem. Burn & Keep adds a second sealed copy, so you can let one go to the fire and keep the other.

Can I get a refund or a revision?

Each poem is custom art, so orders can't be refunded once writing begins, and poems aren't revised. We may decline any brief, and if we do, you get a full refund.

Some things deserve a eulogy. Others deserve a match.

Tell us the shape of it. We'll write the words, seal them in wax, and send them home to you.
